In 2018, we made a whole series of proposals to Grass Valley to evolve their MaM Stratus. Even then, our primary desire was to be able to centralize everything in one story. We also wanted to be able to distribute everything from that same application.
Even if these proposals were well received, things did not evolve much.
At IBC 2019, I visit the Grass Valley booth and one of the engineers tells me to go see a company that has done exactly what we wanted. I arrived at the 7Mountains booth and indeed it was « love at first sight« . Even though the product was brand new and would certainly be missing some things, I felt right away that I had found our new toy.
After much discussion with DiNA, we decided to install the software in the summer of 2020.
